UPDATE: Alberta Education is extending the deadline for the completion of the Alberta Education Assurance (AEA) Survey to Wednesday, April 28, 2021. This extension applies to students, teachers and parents. No further extension will be provided past this date. Schools who are completing their student and teacher surveys on paper should still endeavor to get the surveys in the mail by April 23.

The following is a letter from the Minister of Education. It is also attached as a printable PDF.
Assurance Survey packages were mailed to parents/guardians beginning on March 25, 2021.
Please complete the survey online or return the paper copy by the extended deadline of April 28, 2021.

- If you are a student or teacher and do not know your Random Access Code, please contact your principal.
- If you are the parent or guardian of a student in Grade 4 or above, please enter the 8-digit Random Access Code that was provided to you.
- If you received the survey in the mail, a Random Access Code is located in the upper right corner of the tear-away portion of your survey.
- If you have more than one student for whom you need to respond, please use a different code for each child.
- Parents/guardians needing to replace their Random Access Code can contact System Assurance Branch at [email protected] with the following information: grade of student, school name, school authority name (if known).
- If you received the survey in the mail, a Random Access Code is located in the upper right corner of the tear-away portion of your survey.
