What is Peace Wapiti Enterprise Centre?

We are an outreach school. We offer a range of flexible program options for students from grades 10-12 who might be facing challenges finding success in a traditional school environment. We also provide programs for students who choose to complete their studies outside of a traditional school schedule and classroom environment.

PWEC is committed to a holistic approach to learning emphasizing academic goals while giving considerable consideration to our students' emotional, social, cultural and physical growth. We understand that our health and wellness cannot be separated from our academic success. Our students follow unique and individual academic schedules allowing them to progress at a comfortable pace with access to programming that prepares them with the skills, resources, and opportunities necessary for a bright future.

Current students should speak directly to their AIM (Academic Individual Mentor) teacher regarding their individualized attendance plan for access to pre-registered programs and teacher support.

PWEC offers opportunities for students under the age of 20 as of September 1 of the current year to complete the requirements of an Alberta High School Diploma.

Students who are currently enrolled at a school with the Peace Wapiti Public School Division should contact their local school administration regarding the possibility of transferring.
